Our Multi-disciplinary Approach
With our Claremont, Cape Town consulting rooms conveniently situated on 247 Main Road, Claremont Cape Town, our Psychology Practice consists of a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated, experienced and HPCSA registered Psychologists, Psychometrists and Counsellors committed to providing a professional service that best meets the needs of our clients. This multi-disciplinary approach (providing a full range of psychological services, inclusive of therapy as well as psychometric assessments) provides for both team and/or individual interventions, as is necessary, in each specific case.
Our multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach integrates the strengths of cognitive-behavioural strategies, systemic and eco-systemic methods, narrative therapy, psychoanalysis, client-centered & other humanistic approaches. By using a multi-disciplinary approach to therapy and assessment, we can better serve the psychological needs of our clients. We tailor-make our clinical interventions for our clients’ specific requirements at any given time.
Our team of psychometrists is a vital component of our psychology practice that enables us to offer our clients more flexible time and financial options. Our psychometrists work collaboratively with the psychologists and are able to provide the full range of psychometric services according to their scope of practice as identified by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
